Sayaka, a headstrong, somewhat impulsive woman, along with Rigby, an odd snobbish talkative little girl, are on the run after being kidnapped by a murder cult. The two have been taken to a dangerous, isolated island called Own’and, which is populated by a fractured and divided organization of people who have all come to this island for their own reasons. As far as the two know, there is nothing mystical about the land, but the island seems to indirectly attract a certain breed of people carrying some degree of emotional baggage that drags people away from the outside world; and in a way, has now lured and trapped these two victims. Now, Sayaka and Rigby, with some help from new friends, must put aside their differences and work together in order to navigate the island and survive long enough find a way to get back to the real world.
